I am a European living in the UK. This is my photographic journey through a changing Britain.

Until recently, I felt photography had become meaningless, an endless flood of food pictures, oversaturated HDR land- and cityscapes, blurry kingfishers and random street scenes, no purpose, no aim, boring. Then, earlier this year, I saw an original print of Dorothea Lange’s “Migrant Mother” in Elton John’s impressive photography collection. The expression and message of this 80 year old photo blew me away. This is why I took up a camera again after nearly 20 years.
